About Thinking Buffer

A space to pause, process, and translate technical lessons and timeless wisdom into modern guides and visual stories.

The Philosophy of the Buffer

Why "Thinking Buffer"?

In computer science, a buffer is a temporary holding space—a place where data pauses before being processed and sent to its final destination. In our fast-paced lives and careers, we often lack that space. We react to messages, deadlines, and challenges instantly, operating on muscle memory and automatic patterns.

Thinking Buffer is a dedicated digital canvas designed to serve as that pause. It is a space to slow down, capture thoughts, examine situations from alternative angles, and process them before releasing them into the world.

Abstracting the Office

Every day at work, we face challenges, solve complex systems problems, and navigate human interactions. But these experiences shouldn't stay locked behind corporate walls.

My goal is to capture what I learn in my professional life and abstract those experiences into general, actionable frameworks. By distilling specific technical and leadership situations into broader principles, these lessons become tools that other builders, engineers, and leaders can leverage.

Senior Data Engineer & Creator

I am a Senior Data Engineer at Amazon with over 15 years of experience building resilient, scalable data platforms. My current focus is defining the "Control Plane" of data—designing strategies, governance frameworks, and self-service platforms that serve 700+ internal customers.

Beyond scaling pipelines, I am fascinated by GenAI/ML infrastructure (like building RAG services and Feature Stores), engineering culture, and mentoring as an Amazon Bar Raiser. Thinking Buffer is my outlet for abstracting daily office challenges into generalized lessons and translating rich mythological psychology into relatable comics.

The Two Pillars

Deep Articles

Writing that explores technical problems, automation, systems design, and leadership. The objective is to strip away the company-specific context of office incidents and deliver general, actionable frameworks you can apply directly to your own team or codebase.

Visual Comics

Mythological texts are incredibly rich in understanding human behavior, motivations, and conflicts. Instead of dry narrations, these minimal comics extract immediate real-world insights, applications, and behavioral cues so they are easy for today's generation to relate to and remember.
